Samuel B. Mumford House

This is the actual home H.P. Lovecraft lived in while writing some of his most loved works, including The Call of Cthulhu. The home dates back to 1825 and originally stood at 66 College Street, but was moved in 1959.

Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church

First Baptist Church

This church, founded by Roger Williams in 1638, was the first of its kind in the United States. Built in order for Williams and his followers to have a place of worship, the church has survived wars, rebellion and recession. While many of its contemporaries have closed their doors, the First Baptist Church in America remains vital and strong.
